    Completed in 2015 Cambridge Community Church designed by Cambridge Architects Barber Casanovas Ruffles had distinctive challenges to overcome to provide the right aesthetics look for this striking building. A curved sloping PVC roof was installed with radial detaling arms providing a lead effect. Coupled with an extensive green roof to the lower sections it was important to ensure we were involved early in the design to ensure interfaces with detailing was correctly done to ensure the Church can benefit form two fantastic roofs for many years to come and be a distinctive centre piece for the local community

The iconic Zigguratts designed by Denys Ladsun and built in the 1960’s are listed and represented a logistical challenge to both scaffold and work to the summer holiday period for refurbishment. Suffolk Terrance was completed in 2014, with Phase 1 of Norfolk Terrance in 2015 and Phase 2 in 2016, some 4000m2 of waterproofing completed without dirsuption to the site operation.

    Finalist in the 2016 NFRC best Single Ply roof category, the Woodland Cemetery Prayer Hall in Cheshunt was an octagonal roof comprising a timber structure with Renolit Alkorplan coloured PVC membrane with a Cedar shingle roof to the lower sections, allowing contemporary design and waterproofing to blend with the rustic and traditional timber look. The skill was designing a fixing system that avoided penetrating the waterproofing which with Renolit we were able to achieve.
